(b. 1961 Tallahassee, FL) lives in Brooklyn. He received his BFA in 1985 from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, NY, 1985. He has had solo sculpture exhibits in 2007 at the Allen Memorial Museum, Oberlin, OH; Columbus Museum, GA; Museum of Art, Savannah, GA, and at Sikkema Jenkins Gallery, NYC. He has a major one-person exhibits at Centro Arte Contemporanea, Sienna, Italy, the Hirshhorn Museum in Wash. DC, the Madison Art Center, The Bronx Museum, Royal Hibernain Academy, Dublin and elsewhere. Leonardo was included with 43 in INNER EYE – a 5- museum exhibit of the Livia and Marc Straus Family Collection 1998 – 2000. 43 had previously been show at The Mary Boone Gallery and at the Carnegie International, Pittsburgh. Leonardo was also included in the opening exhibit of HVCCA, REPETITION (2004) and again in 2006-7 in REVERENCE. In 2009 he will have a career retrospective at the Blaffer Gallery, University of Houston. He is represented by Sikkema Jenkins & Co. and Finesilver, Texas. He has been exhibited and collected worldwide.
