(b. 1958, Israel) lives in New York. He has had over 50 solo exhibitions including in 2008 at Mizel Arts and Culture Center, Denver; Byron Cohen Gallery, Kansas City; Mike Weiss Gallery, NYC; Charim Galerie, Vienna; Alon Segev Gallery, Tel Aviv. He has had a solo exhibit at the Tel Aviv Museum in 1997 and again in 2004. His Priscilla paintings at Mike Weiss was the Jan 2008 cover of Gallery Guide. These gorgeously painted canvases brilliantly reference an important history of painting female nudes and landscape recontextualized as only Yigal can do. His work is collected by major museums and collectors worldwide. He is represented by Mike Weiss in NYC and Alon Segev in Tel Aviv.
