Peekskill Film Festival – Day 1
The Field Library presents the Peekskill Film Festival July 28–30, 2017! Located at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, the PFF features over 50 films, educational workshops, panels, student film blocks, parties, and more. The festival kicks off with a red carpet ceremony at 7 pm on Friday.
The Peekskill Film Festival (PFF) was founded in 2015 to promote film literacy in the vibrant and historic Hudson River city of Peekskill, NY, and screens a first-rate mix of features, shorts, documentaries, and animation. 2017’s PFF expands its vision even further, seeking to encourage filmmakers whose voices have traditionally been under-served in more mainstream festivals: immigrants, people of color, women and the LGBTQ community. The PFF also welcomes international films and filmmakers.
Come for a single movie, a day, or the whole weekend. A portion of ticket sales and all sponsorships benefit the cultural programming of the Field Library, a major information hub for the City of Peekskill.
