Come enjoy the HVCCA with the entire family! Explore our current
exhibitions—Double Dutch: Contemporary Dutch Installation and Video
art; and in.flec.tion: featuring 13 artists who have nothing in common, except
that they meet monthly to critique each other's work.
Family Art Day is your family’s chance to experience the HVCCA in way that is interactive and fun for all ages. During this inexpensive day your family will have the chance to:
- Participate in a family friendly docent-led tour of the exhibitions.
- Go on a scavenger hunt through the exhibitions.
- Build pipe-cleaner sculptures and sing along with in.flec.tion artist Don Porcella.
- Create yarn and paper collages inspired by John Newsom’s paintings, featured in in.flec.tion.
- Learn paper cutting techniques, inspired by Double Dutch artist Dylan Graham.
- Sculpt your own birds using plasticine.
- And more!
