What is a museum to do between exhibits?
Host a Live Art Fest!
Live Art Fest is a one day art making event that takes place at HVCCA before the installation of our next exhibition. With the museum’s empty space as their canvas, Hudson Valley artists paint, sculpt, dance, weld, make music and create installations for the public to watch and participate in a day of live art making!
Join us for Live Art Fest! Sunday, January 31st, 1-5pm!
Get your “Joy Permit” from the Empowering Clerks network with Ori Alon; Create Oaxaca-style plasticine animal sculptures with sculptor, Jo-Ann Brody ; Put together “Altered Works” from natural materials with Alison Gigl George; Create a community Collage with Michael Shannon; Rediscover the felt sense of language with Collective Settlement’s “Warmly Yours” dough workshop (the results of the work at Live Art Fest will be part of our next exhibition “WORD”!)
