FOR THE LOVE OF ART

Celebrating 10 years in Peekskill, NY noted art dealer and collector Rick Yamet of Yamet Arts Inc. will host a major exhibition of some of the Hudson Valley's finest artists. A selected group of artists from Mt. Vernon to Hudson will be featured alongside Picasso, Lichtenstein and other iconic artists from Yamet's impressive collection. Connecting the work of the masters with up and coming talent, Yamet and his sponsors hope to highlight the diversity of talent and artistry that continue to thrive in New York's Hudson Valley. A 20% commission of sales will be donated to the Hudson Valley Museum for Contemporary Art.

HAT FACTORY
The Hat Factory at 1000 North Division Street in Peekskill, NY, provides business space and artist studios. The 1879 building in which it resides, continues the tradition of artisan craftsmanship within these old brick walls which over the years have witnessed the creation of everything from fedoras to cast iron stoves. Working with artist tenants, owner Ben Green has hosted numerous art exhibitions in the building since 2007 including The Peekskill Project 2008, Collaborative Concepts at the Hat Factory and The Art Lot.

HUDSON VALLEY CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY ART
The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art opened to the public in June 2004 and is located at 1701 Main Street in Peekskill NY. Founded by the Marc and Livia Straus family, the not-for-profit center is dedicated to the development and presentation of new cutting edge art, exhibits and interdisciplinary programs that enrich our understanding of contemporary art, its contexts, and its relationships to societal issues. Featuring works by world renowned artists drawn from the global community as well as emerging talent, the center organizes lectures and presentations which bring artists of world renown to the Hudson Valley. The Center is committed to the enrichment of Peekskill, a multicultural community that has recreated itself as a major center for art and culture.
