Day Trip to Wave Hill: Public Garden & Cultural Center

Cost includes passenger bus to and from Wave Hill, as well as bagged lunch.
Wave Hill’s 29-acre property is well known for its award-winning botanical gardens, historic mansions and stunning views of the Hudson River and the Palisades. After having a bagged lunch in the beautiful gardens, a custom 1-hour tour will be provided by Laurel Rimmer, Assistant Director of Public Programs. Topics of discussion will include the history of Wave Hill’s grounds and an overview of what is blooming in the gardens. Particular emphasis will revolve around the Alpine Garden and other plants of note from Eastern Europe, in support of HVCCA’s exhibition After the Fall.
